In 2026, the Bundesordner looks back satirically as always on the headlines, controversies, and absurdities of the past twelve months – bringing light into the darkness. This time, the year in review leads from dying whales as a feelgood event, through Infantino's wish for a massive spectacle, to the biggest World Cup of all time with the supposedly greatest peacemaker of the present. Along the way, the Bundesordner touches on bombs on oil fields, a Switzerland that does not halve the Serafe but divides its people, the dark-looking SVP sun over the cities, and a solar eclipse that fascinates well over ten million people. Not only the sun discovers the Dark Side of the Moon: humans orbit it too, while 23 medals are won at the Winter Olympics. Speaking of gold: Switzerland is neutral only because it does not know on which side Chuck Norris stands. Unfortunately, he passed away in March – otherwise, he would surely have carried the whale back to the sea himself. Once again, cabaret artists, singer-songwriters, and word acrobats look back sharply and playfully on the year – guaranteeing insights that pack a punch.
