Metal meets Drum & Bass: Bullet For My Valentine & Pendulum The Welsh metal giants announce a special tour! Two bands. Two completely different forces. One stage: Bullet For My Valentine will come to Hallenstadion Zurich on Tuesday, January 26, 2027 - and they will bring Pendulum as Very Special Guest. For about three decades, Bullet For My Valentine has stood for hard riffs, great melodies, and songs that have become well known far beyond the metal scene. From the band’s early days in South Wales to international festival stages, the band around frontman Matt Tuck has developed into one of the most successful British rock and metal acts. Millions of albums sold, billions of streams, and performances on the biggest stages in the world speak for themselves. Six years, ten songs, and the entire band history are contained in their upcoming album Social Apocalypse. Bullet For My Valentine have deliberately taken their time for their eighth album and chosen a different approach than before: less material, but more focus on the songs that really trigger something. The result combines familiar elements from the band’s history and develops them further - from early influences to current ideas. Will Ramos from Lorna Shore and Chrissy Costanza from Against The Current also ensure two unexpected encounters on the album. And then there is Pendulum. Since Hold Your Colour, Rob Swire, Gareth McGrillen, and Paul Harding have shaped their own mix of drum & bass, rock, and electronic music. With In Silico and the UK number-1 album Immersion, they became an international live act and played at Glastonbury, Download, Reading & Leeds, and Coachella, among others. And thus, a circle closes: Matt Tuck was already part of Pendulum’s story. In 2023, he was heard on Halo, wrote the song together with Rob Swire, and took over the vocals. Halo appeared on the Anima EP, with which Pendulum continued their return as a live band. For the opening, Dark Divine will provide the start. Their mix of dark aesthetics, catchy hooks, and driving metalcore has already brought them tours with Black Veil Brides, Ville Valo, and Holding Absence. With Undead Melody, they show where their journey is currently heading. Three acts, writing their own rules, meet on one evening at Hallenstadion.
