Description

For ten days, they explore their respective sound universes, play each other's compositions, experiment collectively, and listen to each other. Between tradition and modernity, they thus build an ephemeral mosaic made of voices, rhythms, and breaths. Instruments, traditions, and styles do not merge; they coexist on equal footing. The musical outcome is not predetermined; it is born during the process, in the space created by the tension between individual origins and collective creation. Without a predetermined goal, Building Bridges is not just a project: it is an authentic meeting space. In an era where international conflicts and divisions make headlines, Building Bridges is a concrete initiative for dialogue, cooperation, and mutual respect. Miqayel Voskanyan (Armenia) enhances the traditional sounds of the târ. Carles Muñoz Camarero (Spain) blends nyckelharpa, cello, and singing. Bernhard Schimpelsberger (Austria) intertwines various traditions with his percussion and considers the world as a vast sound archive. Andrej Prozorov (Ukraine) builds beautiful musical bridges with his soprano saxophone. Angeliki Pardali (Greece) uses a santour to mix Greek sounds with current beats.
