Description

Yannick Wey is a trumpeter and musicologist. His interests include Swiss brass music, yodeling, and the question of how musical traditions are passed on, changed, and reinterpreted. As a researcher at the Bern University of the Arts, he combines musical practice and scientific research. This event is part of the Stage Sunday series:
Sundays full of sound, encounters, and surprises: On six afternoons at 1:00 PM, 2:00 PM, and 3:00 PM, the stage in the exhibition becomes a lively meeting point for twenty minutes. Musicians who have shaped the exhibition present their very personal sound worlds in short sets – sometimes traditional, sometimes experimental, always surprising. Come, stay, move on, or stay for all sets.
