On Saturday, November 28, 2026, the new book "Murmelimörder – Short stories straight from life" by Yvonne Wiedmer will have its opening – in the special atmosphere of the 1881 Kantine at the Attisholz-Areal in Luterbach. "Murmelimörder" tells of the small and big moments of life. Of family and friendship, love and heartbreak, of special encounters, memories, and wonderfully quirky situations. Sometimes funny, sometimes touching, sometimes thoughtful – and quite often recognizable. At the book launch, Yvonne Wiedmer will give an insight into her new book with selected stories. In addition, the audience can look forward to conversations, musical contributions, and a varied afternoon. And of course, there will also be time for meetings, a joint aperitif, and one or two personal conversations. You can buy and have the book signed directly on site at the launch. If you want to combine the visit with something tasty, there are various options: In the self-service restaurant, you can spontaneously order something to eat before or after the launch. No reservation is necessary for this. If you want to end the evening with a nice meal at the served restaurant 1881 after the launch, you should definitely reserve a table in advance. The reservation can be made directly with the restaurant 1881 – by phone or online via the restaurant's website: www.1881kantine.ch. Or spontaneously and without reservation at the self-service restaurant. 🛏️ Coming from afar? Just stay overnight.
Right next to the 1881 is the Aare Lodge Attisholz with self-check-in. Convenient for all who travel from afar or want to relax and enjoy the evening. From Luterbach train station, it is about 10–15 minutes on foot to the Attisholz-Areal. There are also individual bus connections – please check the current timetable before traveling. Important: The train station is currently being renovated. This may cause delays and possibly changes in bus connections. Plan some extra time for your journey. 💳 Payment on site
Payment can be made in cash, with TWINT, or by card. And if you are already there… Feel free to plan a bit more time. The former industrial area Attisholz is very exciting.
