Music: Accordionist Marion Berger The Oberaargau Yearbook is published for the 69th time and this year again covers a variety of topics. It discusses the beginnings of women's football, vintage aircraft, and the Bleienbach village fire. The city literary figure also speaks again this year. We feature a young astronomer, a patron of the old school, a wonderful accordionist, the Oberaargau fishing supervisor, and artist Reto Stadelmann. Christoph Salm and Nico Kurzen shine with their photography, and we visited the traditional pubs Neuhüsli, Rebstock, and Bürgisweyer Bad. Additionally, we follow a special string of pearls through the Önztal – including water buffalo – take a behind-the-scenes look at the Erlebnisoper, climb the Wiedlisbacher tower, and make a stop at the Waterslide in Niederbipp.
