Description

Discover with us and the children the colorful world of rhymes, verses, fingerplays, and songs! Even when listening to verses or looking at a first picture book together, the child experiences everything that makes up language in the close relationship with a trusted person: it discovers new words and new worlds. It develops its imagination and expands its cognitive abilities. It shows its own interests and learns to understand the perspectives of others.

For babies and children from 9 to 36 months together with an adult companion.

Buchstart is a nationwide Swiss project for early language promotion and the first encounter of toddlers with books.

General Information

The event takes place at the Weiningen community library and is aimed at children aged 9 to 36 months accompanied by an adult. The project promotes language development and the first encounter with books.
