Broken Dialogues

Description

"Broken Dialogues" is a transdisciplinary performance project by the Benton Duo about communication, misunderstandings, and encounters beyond language. Contemporary percussion combines with voice, body, movement, objects, electronics, and video to create a concert format between music, performance, and musical theater. Works by Aperghis, Bauckholt, and Sarhan are performed alongside two new commissioned works by Anna Sowa and Dakota Wayne.
