Boris was founded in 1992 and came together in 1996 with their current lineup of Takeshi, Wata, and Atsuo. Since then, Boris has tirelessly found their own way to reinterpret heavy sound. Although the intensity of their music is constantly increasing, their unique musical skill resists any genre or style classification. Let's simply call it pure, extremely expressive heavy music. Their music is considered groundbreaking for the global rock scene, and their influence is limitless. They enter sound worlds that cannot be described solely with "explosive sound" or "thundering noise," which have become their trademarks.
