What started with Bomfunk MC’s and their Freestyler or Bon Jovi’s It’s My Life developed over 10 years into a roller coaster of musical feelings, ending in 2009 with hits from David Guetta, Lady Gaga, or Katy Perry. In between lies a decade full of contrasts. A decade in which many pop stars made their breakthrough, but also a time when many "hits" were created that would have been better left in the cellar. Or?
