In a varied and playful way, you will train the BLS-AED measures in realistically simulated scenarios for cardiac arrest (BLS = Basic Life Support) in adults and children as well as the use of the AED device (AED = Automated External Defibrillator). The course includes, among other things, the following topics: Recognizing and assessing emergency situations including heart attack and stroke
Problem solving in emergency situations
Positioning of unconscious persons
Procedure according to "Algorithm BLS-AED-SRC 2021"
Basic skills training (initial assessment, chest compressions, ventilation, defibrillation using AED in adults and children)
The course imparts a lot of practical knowledge in a simple way and is based on the latest first aid guidelines. Target group
Interested persons from 12 years of age who want to acquire basic knowledge for resuscitation measures or have to for professional reasons (e.g. first responders, company paramedics, police officers, lifeguards, fitness instructors, firefighters but also relatives of heart patients). Requirements

General Information

The BLS-AED-SRC-Komplett course teaches life-saving measures for resuscitation in adults and children. It is aimed at persons from 12 years of age who want to acquire basic knowledge. The course takes place at the Greppen schoolhouse and includes practical exercises as well as theoretical content.
