Description

The Bierstrasse leads from Roggwil to Rorschach and connects regional beer experiences with stories about their origin at four stations. The start takes place at the Huus-Braui in the Thurgau village of Roggwil with refreshments. The journey continues by post bus to Arbon station. In the Hammel building directly at the bus station, the optician shop «Art of optic» offers a regional beer from Bögli Bräu to take away. From Arbon station, the train ride leads along the lake line to Rorschach. After a short walk, a selection of Kornhaus beer is available. The tour ends at Löwengarten. At the site of the former brewery, there is now a restaurant for an optional dinner, for which early reservation is recommended. Important information Availability: The offer can be booked on Saturdays subject to availability. The start at Huus-Braui Roggwil is from 2:00 p.m. Timetable recommendation: Post bus from Roggwil Ochsen to Arbon station at 3:42 p.m. Train connection from Arbon station to Rorschach harbor at 4:25 p.m. Tickets & organization: The ticket must be booked in advance and presented at the stations. Compliance with the specified times is a prerequisite for the service. Scope of services: The tasting products are fixed and not adjustable. Expenses for public transport and dinner are not included in the price. Groups: Larger groups are possible on request.
