BIENNALE BREGAGLIA 7.6.–27.9.2026

From 7 June to 27 September 2026, the fourth edition of the BIENNALE BREGAGLIA invites visitors to discover the valley through the theme of the exhibition, «Transito»: from Maloja (incl. Torre Belvedere) via Alp Cavloc, Casaccia, Borgonovo, Stampa, Promontogno (incl. Nossa Dona) to the national border at Castasegna, visitors can retrace the ancient connecting routes. «Transito» has multiple meanings: it may imply physical movement from one place to another as well as a process of substantial change between one or more states. It includes objects, goods, planets, territories and people in relation to the dimensions of time and space. The official opening with speeches and a rich program will take place on Saturday, June 6, 2026, starting at 12pm and continuing late into the night. The programme of accompannying events explores and complements the theme of «Transito». Further information on events and guided tours in Italian, German and English is available online.
