Bex Arts 26: Génies du lieu

Description

In Bex's Szilassy landscape park, the 16th edition of the Bex Arts Triennial invites 21 artists
and artist duos to explore the links between contemporary creation, landscape, history and the living.
Curated by Monique Keller and Anne-Outram Mott, this edition, entitled
Geniuses of Place, pays tribute to the singular spirit of this soon-to-be-bicentenary park, and questions the
and the tensions that run through it. Sculptures, installations and landscape
landscape interventions punctuate an open-air itinerary designed as an aesthetic, sensory and collective experience,

The artists invited to take part in this 16th edition are Elisa Balmaceda, Guillaume Barth,
Mirko Baselgia, Cedric Bregnard, Ishita Chakraborty, Olivier Crouzel, Chloé Delarue, Lara Estoppey
& Olivier Estoppey, Gailing Rickling, Jérémie Gindre, Christian Gonzenbach, Yann Gross,
Pauline Julier, Olga Kokcharova, Lang/Baumann, Pierre Leguillon, Hunter Longe, Lou Masduraud,
Rachel Morend, Gina Proenza and Shirin Yousefi.

The Bex Arts Triennial 2026 takes place in Szilassy Park, Bex, Switzerland, from May 30 to October 3. It presents sculptures, installations, and landscape interventions by 21 contemporary artists, curated around the theme of 'Geniuses of Place'.
