Clara Grabowieck is an Argentine visual artist who was born in Buenos Aires in 1983. She studied in the studio of the renowned Argentine artist Carlos Gorriarena, where she deepened her interest in artistic color research. In 2008, she was selected as an artist-in-residence for the prestigious Takt Berlin Artist Residency, an experience that broadened her creative horizons and fundamentally transformed her artistic perspective. In 2016, driven by her curiosity, Clara moved to Europe, where she had the opportunity to immerse herself in the local art scene and forge meaningful connections with other contemporary artists. There, she completed a master’s degree in “Research in Art and Design” at the Autonomous University of Barcelona. Throughout her career, she has exhibited her work in Buenos Aires, Berlin, Beijing, Barcelona, Miami, and London. In November 2024, Clara presented an audiovisual performance at the Kunsthaus Zürich in collaboration with producer Angelo Repetto as part of Digital Arts Zurich. She also presented a short audiovisual film titled “Une histoire dans une histoire” for the Night of Museums in Sion, Switzerland, produced and supported by the Open Air Museum Art Valais in Switzerland. She was selected by the Saikoneon artist residency in Tokyo, Japan, to spend a month in October 2025 working on the further development of her project. Clara has prepared an audiovisual performance in collaboration with Angelo Repetto, which will be presented on June 25, 2026, in Berlin as part of the Fusion Festival. On Her Painting Clara Grabowiecki’s work is a journey into an inner cosmos. As she navigates unconscious fairy tales and eerie dream worlds set against fictional landscapes, and as she shifts between the figurative and the abstract, her paintings create cosmologies of the imagination. Her works are characterized by a confident color palette that anchors us firmly in a realm of fantasy connected to the collective cultural unconscious. The paintings suspend both science fiction and ancient narratives in a timeless limbo. The crystal symbolizes the purity of the soul when matter condenses into transparency. The space of the mind is depicted as a crystallized gesture toward truth and purity. The diamond folds in on itself and bends light through space like connecting threads. Human and animal figures appear as ghostly apparitions carrying within them the spark of life, which lies in the ability to desire and to dream. Zurich-based musician Angelo Repetto returns with his new album “Between Worlds: Interference,” released by Subject to Restrictions Discs. The album is the result of a unique collaboration with Argentine visual artist Clara Grabowiecki, who translates her immersive live project “Between Worlds” into a sonic and tangible form. “This album is a continuation of the profound conversations Clara and I have had about concepts of perception, which led us to question silence, time, transcendence, and the future,” says Repetto. “It’s not about finding answers, but about opening up spaces where sound, image, and emotion can flow freely.” Please join us for our public opening reception on August 25, 2026, from 6:00 p. m. to 8:00 p. m., with the artist and musician and producer Angelo Repetto in attendance.
