Description
Linh Tran has won nearly everything there is to win in table football. Multiple world champion, the first woman to make a living as a professional in this sport. But the more successful she becomes, the more pressing the question: Why? In her autobiography "From the Wrist – Why I Had to Become a World Champion in Table Football" (Edel Sports, September 2, 2026), the world's best table football player talks about a career that was never planned, family pressure, and a life between two cultures. She openly discusses her search for an answer to the question: When am I good enough? And how she found her way back to herself at a low point. "From the Wrist" is the story of a woman who had to learn that strength does not lie in always pushing forward – but in questioning one's own standards and stopping the constant self-competition. That evening, Linh Tran will read from her book together with the award-winning journalist and author Mara Pfeiffer. In conversation, they will share stories behind the chapters – about origins, female empowerment, and mental health. Afterwards, there will be time for questions from the audience and a signing session.
