We created this beer festival to bring passionate nature lovers together and offer them an unforgettable experience. The event includes a breathtaking 12-km hike through picturesque landscapes, where you can fully enjoy the beauty of nature. Additionally, numerous tastings of exquisite beer specialties await you, pampering the senses. Join us and experience a day full of adventure, enjoyment, and shared joy! We are pleased to be able to hold the ninth Bergbierfestival on October 17, 2026. The Hike The hike is 11.6 kilometers long, leisurely and scenic. On the opposite side of the valley, the 3000-meter peaks of the Engadine Dolomites tower. And on this special day, you also learn what Swiss mountain tastes like, as all mountain beer breweries produce with mountain spring water, which present themselves with tasting stands along the hike. Up to the festival grounds, everyone can try about 25 mountain beer varieties and continue drinking their newly chosen favorite beer at the festival grounds in Ramosch. The start is in Tschlin, bus stop between 10:00 AM and 2:00 PM. The hike is individual. Each participant can decide when to start and how fast to walk. At the start, each participant receives a tasting glass, with which they can taste at every stand. At the end, the glasses are intended for personal glass collections. Also Suitable for Families The hike is also very suitable for children. The only exception is that the trail is not stroller-friendly. Duration: approx. 3.5 hours. Comfortable hiking shoes recommended. The hike is well marked. Festival in Ramosch All mountain beer hikers can dance to music in the evening and continue enjoying the tasted beer. Of course, all guests who did not participate in the hike are also welcome. Party in dialect? Definitely with us! Kitsch brings the biggest Swiss hits in party mode to the stage and makes the girls dance and the guys party as it should be – if you don’t go hoarse home, you did something wrong! Kitsch impresses with cheeky appearance and unmistakable festival hut sound, a mix of the best dialect hits from past to present, together with Styrian accordion and baritone.
