Benefit Concert

Description

The project in Madagascar 29 years ago the project began with the resettlement of homeless families from the capital Antananarivo to the highlands of Madagascar. There, people are trained in agriculture and receive a house and land and initial start-up assistance. After 3 years, the families must be able to support themselves. We travel to the highlands each spring and develop projects with the people to improve their lives. These include: reforestation, agricultural advice to improve nutrition and cooperatives, agricultural school with model farm, establishment of a health insurance fund, introduction of a kindergarten. Our common goal is for the families to become as independent as possible. In addition to agricultural advice, financial support as start-up capital is necessary. In addition, a considerable portion of our donation budget goes to the ongoing costs for school and training.
