Nadační fond Josefa Nováka invites you to a pre-Christmas charity concert in the beautiful setting of Zámek Zbraslav. The evening will feature an exceptional piano recital by Matyáš Novák and will also support local institutions in Zbraslav that actively care for seniors, especially during the Advent season. Pianist Matyáš Novák is considered one of the most promising pianists of his generation due to his extraordinary harmonic sensitivity, wide repertoire, and excellent playing technique. His remarkable musical talent is evidenced not only by significant competition successes but also by his own fantasies and transcriptions inspired by the works of great composers and folk music. At a young age, he has a repertoire of dozens of concertos with orchestras and hundreds of pieces for solo piano. He is a graduate of the renowned piano academy Incontri col Maestro in Imola, Italy, under the tutelage of Prof. Boris Petrušanský, and the Music and Dance Faculty of the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague, where he is currently pursuing doctoral studies under Prof. Ivan Klánský.
