Legends of British death metal, rooted at the very origins of the genre. Benediction formed in Birmingham in 1989, and their debut Subconscious Terror (1990) immediately caught the world's attention. The cult album Transcend the Rubicon (1993) is still considered one of the pillars of European death metal. With the return of vocalist Dave Ingram, they released the comeback album Scriptures in 2020, which entered the German charts at an impressive #11 — an exceptional result for old-school death metal. Their latest album Ravage of Empires (2025) confirms that Benediction plays at the highest global level. They perform at Wacken Open Air, Maryland Deathfest — and now they are coming to Jablunkov. A Czech death metal institution. Since 1991, Tortharry from Hronov has built an unwavering reputation as one of the most consistent and influential domestic death metal bands. Over thirty years, they have released a series of essential albums — from brutal beginnings to more complex works like Unseen, Beneath, or Altars of Ignorance, culminating in the recent Paměť kamenů (2024), their first album entirely in Czech. A strong live performance with precise production — exactly what death metal should be. A domestic death metal force with sharp claws. Dysangelium has been building a reputation as one of the most intense live bands in the Czech extreme metal scene since 2011. They have performed at Brutal Assault, Czech Death Fest, and the Slovak Gothoom Festival, along with European tours and sharing the stage with icons like Destruction, Rotting Christ, or Skeletal Remains. Their latest album Jonestown (2024) proves they still have something to say!
