Beauty Pageant at the Unterseen Fall Livestock Show

Set against the unique backdrop of the charming Old Town, over 100 animals are showcased, making the traditional fall show an experience for young and old alike. The top-scoring animals will be presented at 11:00 a. m. At various vendor booths, farming families showcase regional specialties and products from their own farms. From fine Alpine cheese to groceries and other farm-fresh goods, the booths invite visitors to sample and discover. Of course, culinary delights are a must: What could be better on a day dedicated to agriculture than a hearty “Chäsbrätel,” accompanied by a local beer or a good glass of wine? This way, you can also savor the special atmosphere of the fall fair through its food. Another highlight awaits visitors at 12:30 p. m.: For the second time in the history of the Unterseen Fall Fair, “Miss Altstadt” will be crowned. The contest honors the most beautiful cow of the day—an entertaining and exciting part of the program that you won’t want to miss.
