Description

Join us on the Gemmi and get to know the bearded vulture and its habitat – in an environment where the history of the landscape, fauna, and flora are closely intertwined and where nature teaches us its laws.

Equipment
Clothing suitable for the weather (it can get very cold on the Gemmi) and binoculars if available. Binoculars can be borrowed.

Meeting point
North Exit of the Gemmi Mountain Station

Time: Individual arrival, please arrive by 09:45 AM
Cable car ride: Departure at 09:30 AM from the valley station Gemmi
Tour end: Return to the Gemmi Mountain Station around 12:00 PM

Remarks
If the Gemmi cable car is closed for seasonal reasons or due to weather conditions, the excursion will not take place. Please check in advance with the Tourist Information.

General Information

This guided excursion takes place at the Naturpark Pfyn-Finges near Leukerbad. Participants will explore the habitat of the bearded vulture and learn about the local environment. The tour is scheduled for the morning, with a cable car ride from the valley station.
