At the end of October, the Reformed Church of Oberengstringen cordially invites you to its traditional bazaar. Time-honored attractions and new surprises invite you to stroll, enjoy, and linger. In addition to the flea market for all ages, the Eva Boutique, stalls selling handmade goods, a restaurant, a champagne bar, a sausage stand, and a carousel, a wheel of fortune with attractive prizes and Brazilian specialties will provide special highlights. On Friday, Georgij Modestov will provide musical entertainment during dinner at Bar Piano. For the youngest guests, Saturday’s program includes face painting, gingerbread decorating, and a puppet show. The proceeds will benefit the “Hope” (PEBRASS) project of the IELPZ in Brazil. Clothing and other items will be accepted from September 1 through October 15. We are looking for clean, complete, and well-preserved women’s clothing, shoes, handbags, scarves, and festive attire. Books in like-new condition and functional household items are also welcome. Cakes, desserts, jams, and other homemade treats may be dropped off directly on the day of the bazaar. The parish extends its heartfelt thanks to all donors and volunteers for their support.
