The “Bagnes, Capital of Raclette” event takes place over two days and aims to showcase Valais AOP raclette cheese. This friendly event demonstrates that behind every plate lie the skills, craftsmanship, alpine pastures, and families that make it possible. Tasting booths and meet-and-greets with producers invite attendees to celebrate the passion of our farmers. Here, raclette isn’t just a dish—it’s a culture, a history, and a living heritage. Throughout the weekend, come taste more than a dozen different cheeses and numerous local products in a festive and friendly atmosphere. Musical entertainment, a raffle, and inflatable castles will also liven up these two gourmet days. The event also returns to its traditional format with the “Combat de Reines” (heifer wrestling) on Saturday and the grand parade on Sunday morning. Here is the schedule: Saturday, September 26
