Documentary film Bad Faith 2026, 77 min | English original version with English subtitles The documentary "Bad Faith" traces how Christian nationalism has gained influence in the USA and what role it plays in the political development of the country. The film highlights the intertwining of Christian faith, national identity, and political power. Following the screening, Thorsten Dietz, theologian and co-author of the upcoming 2026 volume "Christian Nationalism in the USA," will provide theological and societal context. Together, we will discuss why Christian nationalism is not only a phenomenon in the USA but also has international implications – and what responsibilities churches, theology, and religious education have today.
