Description

Do you fancy home-baked bread, fresh plaited bread and Ukrainian piroshkis from the wood-fired oven? Then you are cordially invited to bake together at the Heimat- & Rebbau-Museum Spiez.

We heat up the wood-fired oven - you bring your finished dough or the shaped loaves or plaits (approx. 500 g) and take your freshly baked bread home with you.
Guide value: 1 kg of flour makes 2-3 loaves of bread or plaits.

Ukrainian piroshkis (approx. 80 g) can also be ordered. They are also baked in a wood-fired oven and are available fresh on the day of baking.

When: Saturday morning, June 6, 2026
Where: Kitchen of the Heimat- & Rebbau-Museum Spiez
Cost: CHF 2.- per kg of flour (minimum CHF 2.-)
All proceeds go to the Heimat- & Rebbau-Museum.

There are two baking sessions (approx. 9.00 am and approx. 11.00 am). The aim is to bake without reheating between the baking cycles - please arrive approx. 15 minutes before the baking cycle.

We look forward to baking together! In the evening, the wood-fired oven will be fired up again - then the museum will be part of the Spiez Culture Night.
