Azymuth is responsible for an innovative mix of jazz-funk and samba that has conquered the world in recent decades. They are one of the most influential bands in Brazil and undoubtedly one of the longest-running bands in the world. Fifty years since their formation, the trio has released over thirty albums and continues to perform with the same energy and enthusiasm as in their early days. Their latest album, Marca Passo, marks a significant milestone as their first full-length release since the death of founding drummer Ivan "Mamão" Conti in 2023, following the earlier loss of keyboardist José Roberto Bertrami in 2012.
