Autumn Season at the MJ-S4 Infantry Bunker "Zatáčka"

Due to numerous public requests, this year's season at the MJ-S4 infantry bunker codenamed "Zatáčka" in Chvalovice will be extended into the autumn days! Members of the military historical association ROTO Chvalovice, which manages the bunker, and the entire crew have adjusted their plans and will be here for you EVERY WEEKEND from August 29 until October 18, 2026! Come and learn about the fascinating history of the concrete fortress from the troubled year of 1938 to 1999. Yes, you read that right – "Zatáčka" was in active service for an incredibly long time to defend our homeland. You will see the military fortress as the crew knew it during its active service. You will learn about the history of the First Republic border fortifications of Czechoslovakia and its post-war period of so-called reactivation. You will see fortification equipment and armament, get acquainted with the life of the crew, the combat activities of the infantry bunker, and find out how long the large fortifications in southern Moravia were prepared to defend the borders of the republic.
