Description
We invite you to a concert dedicated to the original works of brothers Jan and Václav Polívka. The concert will offer an opportunity to explore the unique creations of the brothers, whose musical paths converge in various forms of contemporary chamber music. The program, led by conductor and pianist Jan Polívka, will connect Czech and German musicians – professionals, amateurs, and young singers. Alongside adult and children's voices from the choir Pražští pěvci under the direction of Stanislav Mistr and the children's choir Mifun led by Jiří Polívka, a chamber instrumental ensemble from members of the International Chamber Choir and Orchestra Frankfurt-Prague and the Černošice Chamber Philharmonic will also perform. Soprano solos will be sung by the young promising singer, choir conductor, and composer Eliška Mistrová. Jan Polívka's music combines lyrical character, contemporary musical expression, and sensitive work with vocal colors. Václav Polívka's compositions draw from folk and medieval roots while reflecting contemporary musical and intellectual stimuli. Come discover music that moves between chamber creation, contemporary expression, voice, and instrumental colors, some of which will be heard by the audience for the very first time. The concert in Řevnice is preceded by a slightly modified concert on 2.10. at 19:30 in the Foerster Hall in Prague. https://www.smsticket.cz/vstupenky/74969-autorsky-kocert-bratri-polivku-foersterova-sin-praha
