Description
From July to October 2026, an exhibition of the artist from Lenk, Jakob CHRISTELER-MATTI, born in 1872 and passed away in 1950, will take place at the Hotel Kreuz. Between 20 and 30 paintings will be presented on loan. The self-taught artist primarily painted the village of Lenk with the Wildstrubel in various versions, sometimes featuring chains of hills or relocated buildings. However, some treasures will also be on display, such as, among others, the church of Ried St. Stephan, Lake Iffigensee, and the Wildstrubel from a completely different angle, as well as many other things.
