Description

The World Water Library is located in a special place: the water of the Vorder- and Hinterrhein flows together here before continuing towards the North Sea. But it was not always like this. During the last Ice Age, a 1.5 km thick ice layer covered the region. And if the Flims rockslide had not buried the valley 9500 years ago, the Rheinschlucht would never have formed.
