Description
Anissa is searching for her father whom she has never known. As she traces him in a completely unlikely way, Ahmed Madani urges her to go in search of him and accompanies her on this improbable adventure in the depths of New Hampshire. From this journey, a show is born where two perspectives intertwine: that of Anissa, moving, and that of Ahmed, complicit.
Together, they question kinship, freedom, the randomness of encounters, the notion of destiny, and the role of art in our lives. Between theatre, pastry, video, life journeys, discussions between the protagonists and the audience, this performance offers a thoughtful and joyful reflection on fatherhood. A tender ode to resilience, punctuated with chocolate and caramelized pastries to enjoy together.
Ahmed Madani has created around forty shows. His theatre is based on human material and writing. Societal and political questions, always vivid in this changing world, are the lively material of his dramaturgy. Out of respect for artists and other spectators, we reserve the right to refuse entry to latecomers, without refund or exchange.
