Description
In the program: Wolfgang Amadé Mozart – Concerto for Clarinet and Orchestra in A major, KV 622 Ludwig van Beethoven – Symphony No. 8 in F major, op. 93 Sharon Kam – Clarinet Gevorg Gharabekyan – Conductor Chamber Orchestra I TEMPI About the program: The Chamber Orchestra I TEMPI dedicates its concerts of the 2026/27 season to the theme «Sounds of Peace» – not as a silent state, but as an active process of rapprochement and listening. I TEMPI explores the power of music to connect us humans, build bridges, and remind us what unites us as human beings. On Saturday, October 17, I TEMPI will perform in Reinach for the first time and will play two great masterpieces of classical music in the program «Breath of Peace»: Mozart's Clarinet Concerto and Beethoven's 8th Symphony. In the Clarinet Concerto, Mozart combines cantabile intimacy with the lightness typical of him and a calm serenity found only in his late works. The internationally acclaimed clarinetist Sharon Kam, known for her expressiveness and finely nuanced tone, performs as soloist. Beethoven's 8th Symphony forms the crowning conclusion. Its cheerful, life-affirming character can be understood as a musical plea for a loving and peaceful coexistence. The concert is conducted by Gevorg Gharabekyan.
