Description

In a transformable, mobile space, the music of Antonio Vivaldi and the sound traditions of the Celtic world meet. The Baroque Orchestra Lahr returns with a new music theater production in the tradition of the 'BaRockOper'. Between baroque sound worlds, contemporary music theater, and lively storytelling, a musically poetic space is created. Two professional singers engage in close dialogue with the orchestra. Voices, instruments, and movement merge into a shared narrative. The libretto by Jean-Michel Fournereau was created through an open process, which considers musicians with their instruments as active figures of the staging.
