Antonio Vivaldi – L’Estro Armonico Vojtěch Spurný & Dívčí orchestr FOK The cycle L’Estro Armonico (Harmonic Inspiration) is one of the peaks of Baroque instrumental music and one of the most significant works of Antonio Vivaldi. The collection of twelve concertos, published in 1711, marked a true breakthrough in European music – its freshness, virtuosity, and boldness inspired an entire generation of composers, including Johann Sebastian Bach. Under the direction of conductor, harpsichordist, and specialist in historically informed performance Vojtěch Spurný, a selection from this famous cycle will be performed by the Dívčí orchestr FOK. Young talented musicians will collectively present Vivaldi's music in all its colorfulness – from sparkling dialogues of solo instruments to thrilling rhythmic energy and lyrical expressiveness of slow movements. The concert will offer a unique encounter with music that, even after more than three hundred years, retains its freshness, elegance, and immediate power.
