Antisemitism has a long history and remains a societal reality today. The two-part series explores both the historical roots and the current challenges faced by Jewish communities in Switzerland. On November 10, Prof. Dr. Jörg Frey (University of Zurich) will explain how anti-Judaism emerged in early Christianity and shaped the history of Christianity over centuries. On November 24, Dr. Jonathan Kreutner from the Swiss Israelite Community Federation will discuss the current situation of Jewish communities, contemporary forms of antisemitism, and their impact in Switzerland. Both events offer an opportunity for questions and joint exchange over an aperitif afterwards. The series is aimed at all interested parties who want to better understand historical contexts and engage with current societal challenges.
