Captivating mix of jazz, avant-pop, poetry, and performance. Singer, guitarist, and pianist Andrina Bollinger defies categorization. Her art form is a multisensory whole, consisting of field recordings, fragmentary stories, and emotionally charged soundscapes. Inspired by her Engadine roots and interpreters of experimental pop, Bollinger meanders with an intensely velvety voice between sound, image, and movement. She switches between instruments, screams, sings, hums, strums, and repeatedly pushes her band into moments of controlled instability. An orchestrated free flight in the spirit of improvisation.
