Description

Young capuchin monkey Saï finds herself alone in the middle of the Amazon rainforest after a plane crash. Unprepared for life in the wild, she must overcome her fears, learn to survive, and find her place among other monkeys to stay alive. French director Thierry Ragobert and his team spent two years on location capturing the stunning scenery and vast array of different animal species. The documentary footage was then edited to tell Saï's story. It is a heroic tale full of drama and overcoming obstacles. Amazonie is a family film, an ode to the beauty and diversity of the Amazon rainforest with absolutely unique and enchanting scenery.
