On Saturday, October 17, 2026, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., the Tellpark shopping center will transform into a paradise for cheese lovers. Organized by the Alp Commission of the Uri Farmers' Association, the traditional Alpine Cheese Competition once again invites you to discover the diverse flavors of regional alpine cheeses. Visitors can sample, rate, and enjoy a wide selection of cheese creations. But there are highlights not only for the palate: live folk music, free milkshakes, and other surprises ensure a thoroughly enjoyable experience. The event impressively showcases how many talented alpine cheesemakers and exceptional products the canton of Uri has to offer. A feast for all the senses – don't miss it! The festive cheese award ceremony will take place on November 28, 2026, at 4 p.m. at the Alp Cheese Market in Seedorf – a visit is also worthwhile here.

General Information
