Alphorn Montage: Organ and Alphorn

Description

The final concert is performed by the nationally and internationally renowned alphorn virtuoso Lisa Stoll, the Burgdorf alphorn player and composer Patrick Kissling, and the organist Kiyomi Higaki.

Together they present new compositions and arrangements that showcase the alphorn in ever surprising tonal colors. In the exciting combination of alphorn and organ, an impressive dialogue arises – sometimes powerful and solemn, sometimes delicate and touching.

The audience can expect a colorful program between tradition, classical music, and pop music. Familiar melodies appear in a new guise, fresh works set bright accents, and alpine sound worlds and sacred vastness repeatedly merge into a special listening experience.
