Aliose honors Maxime Le Forestier A radiant musical encounter between familiarity, heritage, and reinvention, where two voices and string instruments refine a timeless repertoire with sensitivity, emotion, and modernity. Aliose sets aside their own songs for a tour to explore the repertoire of one of the most important figures in French chanson and to imprint their signature on refrains that have accompanied generations for over fifty years. Two voices, guitars, a string trio, projections, and careful scenographic work create the framework in which the duo tells us the beautiful story of friendship they have woven with Maxime Le Forestier. “I had goosebumps throughout Comme un arbre.
