With a sharp eye and even sharper humor, he dissects the absurdities of modern adulthood. Men with women complexes, silver foxes with aging allergies, or the fitness craze vs. the "I am always beautiful" lie. Not to forget the Nine-Eleven of the pension system, also called "Retirement Home Nightmare": the longevity hype and the romanticized escape "back to nature" in the hope that the supposedly perfect world there will last a while longer. Being an adult for him does not mean fulfilling expectations and functioning in the zeitgeist, but keeping the promises you made as a child. Keeping this child – and thus humor – alive in us is Alex Kristan's universal remedy against the seriousness of life.
