The band is characterized by the creative and individual voices of its members and focuses on an open interplay, where forms and structures can develop freely. The improvisations often move in a polyrhythmic space, driven by Métrailler's compositions, which are equally inspired by the spirit of modern jazz and its deeply rooted traditions. The debut album Heights Prospection is a homage to Alain Métrailler's most important influences – from legends like Wayne Shorter and Joe Lovano to his mentors like Ohad Talmor and his late father Richard Métrailler, his first musical companion.
