Ala Fekra, founded in 2018, is a Swiss-Egyptian ensemble led by Patricia Draeger that combines jazz and traditional folk music from the Arab world and the Alps. The band has captivated audiences with their original compositions, virtuosic playing, and heartfelt performances. They have performed across Switzerland and Egypt, including notable appearances at the Cairo Opera House and the Willisau Jazz Festival.
