Love, jealousy, betrayal… To approach *Aida*, the Egyptian epic composed by Verdi in 1870, one needs strong shoulders. Moreover, a good dose of wit, cheekiness, and immense storytelling talent are required to make the work "family-friendly" and not confront the young audience harshly with the dramatic ending. Robert Sandoz, a rogue of all trades, director of the Théâtre du Passage, and creative head of the production, eagerly took on the challenge.
