Description
Open Space, strong community, concrete impulses. The 13th Agile Unconference will again be held at Karl der Grosse. You bring topics, discuss with other practitioners, and leave with actionable ideas. Keynote: Aino Vonge Corry - What if most of what we call agile isn't very agile at all? Keynote language: English. Agility should help us inspect, adapt, and learn. So why are so many teams stuck in rituals that feel empty, in estimates that no one remembers, and in meetings that are endured rather than valued? In this keynote, Aino Vonge Corry draws on 25 years of experience in software, hardware, education, research, and facilitation to re-examine agility in a new and sometimes uncomfortable way. Not as doctrine. Not as a cargo cult. But as something we need to re-evaluate with the very mindset that agility originally promised. Expect sharp questions, practical examples, and a few ideas that might annoy you in a useful way. You will leave with new ways of thinking about meetings, communication, planning, estimation, teamwork, and how to stay sane through it all. For leaders, architects, engineers, and anyone ready to question whether their "Agile" is truly helpful. It will address questions such as: Can a team that exists only in name, but not in function, really utilize a team-based process? Should daily stand-ups be attended if they are useless? And do estimates still matter if no one can explain their value years later?
