Folk Music with Bluegrass Drive
Flamboyant fiddle solos, driving guitar groove, charming atmospheric bass beats. Along with three voices in harmony, there's a cornucopia of self-written folk songs. Occasionally, there are also jigs and reels to be heard, as well as songs in German or French. This is Caludo from Zurich. Catie Jo is a bluegrass fiddle player originally from Minneapolis, USA. Vincent on double bass comes from the pop/rock scene but also plays Greek and Irish music with the instrument. Stefan has also been musically active in the bluegrass and folk rock scene for a long time. Now the three songwriters are unpacking their suitcase: a colorful graffiti of self-written songs about astronauts, moves, sweets, unused streets, small bank robberies, and much more. The event takes place in the garden hall of Villa Boveri. The Villa Boveri Foundation invites guests and musicians to enjoy Christmas cookies, coffee, and tea after the concert.
