AFTER THIS, You Will Want to Dance explores what happens to dances after they have already been danced. There are birds moving without a leader, the summit of a mountain called Psiloritis, a club in Detroit, a farmhouse above the sea, Lacan's objet petit a, and dances that have traveled through other bodies before reaching ours. Some of all this will be danced. Some of all this will be told in words. Some of it will be remembered, some imagined. Perhaps nothing survives on its own. Perhaps it continues to live by being carried from one body to another. Perhaps you will want to dance afterward. Or perhaps you want to talk about dance. Perhaps you imagine how you dance. Or perhaps you are already dancing and just haven't noticed it yet. Languages: German, English, and Greek with simultaneous surtitles. KATINES Zürich The stage opens up for women from the community – the decision about which women ultimately dance lies with them and will be made during the collaborative work.
