What did Aesch look like in the past? How have the village, streets, houses, and landscape changed over the decades?
Under the title «Aesch, as it was in the past ...», the Heimatmuseum Aesch showcased historical photographs from Aesch and its surroundings in 2022. The exhibition received great interest. On the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the Heimatmuseum, a selection of these images is now on display again. Historical photos invite visitors in the garden of Blarerschloss to rediscover familiar sights, trace changes, and immerse themselves in memories. The images can be viewed outdoors and free of charge until October 25, 2026. Tip: Anniversary celebration
On October 17 and 18, 2026, the Heimatmuseum Aesch will celebrate its 50th anniversary with a big festival around Aescher Castle.
