Advent Concert IV • Czech Double Reed Ensemble

Description

At the end of Advent – the largest ensemble. The Czech Double Reed Ensemble will meet on stage with members of the Czech Philharmonic, with the vocal part represented by the choir En Arché. Together, they will turn to older times. In an arrangement by our bassoonist Tomáš František, selections from two famous "musicals" by Georg Friedrich Händel will be performed. Part of the program will be dedicated to the tradition of old Czech rorates.

General Information

The Advent Concert IV will take place at the Rudolfinum in Prague, featuring a collaboration between the Czech Double Reed Ensemble and members of the Czech Philharmonic. The concert will highlight traditional Czech rorates and selections from Georg Friedrich Händel's works, arranged by bassoonist Tomáš František.
